About SANRAL High School Scholarship Program
The SANRAL scholarship program is established for South African high school students from grade 8 to 12 in 2025.
The scholarship recipient will be chosen in accordance with SANRAL’s Bursary Policy, taking into account their financial need and academic merit, among other relevant factors.
Benefits:
- Learner support programme to help learners prepare for intense studying and academic success.
- Holistic support that includes career information and guidance in their desired fields of study.
- Psychological counseling, career coaching, extra classes, and exam preparation based on a learner needs assessment.
The organization will select the successful candidates depending on their academic performances. Please consider your application unsuccessful if you haven’t heard from them via email after three months.
- Tuition costs will be paid directly to the school upon the submission of school fees statements.
- School and sports uniforms, books, and stationery costs will be reimbursed to parents on receipt of an original proof of payment which should be submitted with a claim form.
- Where a full scholarship is awarded, scholarship holders are not allowed to have any other funding that covers their school fees.
Eligibility Requirements For The SANRAL High School Scholarship
It is necessary for candidates to fulfill specific requirements in order to be considered for the SANRAL scholarship. Please pay attention to the details below.
- South African citizenship (Only available for South African citizens, foreigners are not allowed to apply).
- You have to be enrolled in any South African school and in grades 8 through 12.
- A minimum of overall 60% average is required
- You must have a household income of LESS that R550 000 per annum
- Complete all application process and submit supporting documents
How to Apply For SANRAL High School Scholarship South Africa 2025 (Application Process)
Application process is held online, please apply at https://www.nra.co.za/Scholarships. You are required as an applicant to submit clear copies of supporting documents in good format.
- Government approved ID Card or birth certificate
- Certified copy of June 2024 academic results
- Motivational letter written by the applicant (stating why you deserve the scholarship and about yourself (2 pages)
- Motivational letter written by your school, and your parent/guardian
- Parent/guardian government approved ID card
- Proof of income/affidavit (if parents are self-employed in the informal sector or they work from home, you must submit an affidavit on the amount that they earn).
- Parents or guardians proof of residence (water and electricity bill from the local council)
Deadline (Closing Date)
All applications should be completed and submitted before 30 September 2024. Any application after this date will be regarded as void.
